Biosolids is a by-product of the wastewater treatment process that can offer beneficial uses, such as a soil amendment to improve agricultural growth. Columbus Water Works is developing and will install a new technology that produces Class A biosolids, which is pathogen-free and the highest level achievable under EPA standards.
