Drinking Water Fact Sheet

The Safe Drinking Water Act adopted by Congress governs the quality of treated drinking water. All drinking water deemed safe is allowed to contain materials or particulates that have not been shown to pose a health concern when kept within allowable limits. Federal and state regulations set the allowable limits for these materials. To help you better understand your drinking water, CWW has compiled a Drinking Water Fact Sheet.
